| IVF was first done in test tube hence this process is also called as test tube baby process.The first "test tube baby", Louise Brown, was born in 1978. A baby developed from an egg that was fertilized outside the body and then implanted in the uterus of the biological or surrogate mother or we can say about test-tube baby - a baby conceived by fertilization that occurs outside the womens's body; the woman's ova are removed and mixed with sperm in a culture medium - if fertilization occurs the blastocyte is implanted in the woman's uterus. |
